In 2021, based on the successful development of the 360mm diameter 5 ton extra-large piston for heavy-duty hydraulic hammers of 70-80-ton excavators, Mianyang Qianchui Mechanical Equipment Co.,Ltd. has developed a corresponding Φ360×2300mm extra-large diameter hydraulic hammer piston according to the request of XCMG Corporation's heavy-duty hydraulic hammer project. Focusing on the operating conditions of a 5-ton hydraulic hammer with a huge impact energy of up to 100,000 Joules, Qianchui, using military technology to comprehensively solve technical problems, has successfully developed and put into operation the QC600 patented rod lance.
The pike body is made of ultra-high-strength QCD6 steel, used in Long March rockets, and the tip core is made of proprietary heat-resistant alloy QC600. This made it possible to successfully solve the technical problems characteristic of conventional heavy hydraulic hammers: brittleness with high strength, deformation of edges with low strength and rapid loss of hardness when heated. The QC600 high-temperature alloy core allows the lance to withstand temperatures up to 600°C without softening, maintaining a hardness of HRC 60-65, which provides high crushing efficiency, productivity and economic benefits. At the same time, the balanced combination of strength and toughness of the QCD6 body material fully meets the requirements of super heavy peaks for high strength, toughness, heat resistance and wear resistance, which has earned high praise and recognition from users.
