What should you do if the piston of a hydraulic hammer constantly breaks, the head comes off, and scuffs and scratches appear?
You can try our 616S hydraulic hammer piston, which is manufactured using heat treatment: standard case hardening + multiple low tempering, which fully meets the requirement of the "outside hard, inside soft" characteristic of hydraulic hammer piston, which effectively saves customers from hidden quality defects such as high brittleness, tendency of head cracking and destruction of high-carbon steel type pistons GCr15/9Cr2Mo, quenched and tempered, eliminating after-sales problems.
What sizes of pistons can you produce?
For standard piston sizes 140～200, we keep several hundred pistons in stock every month; other sizes can also be made to order. Models produced: from small impact pistons for rotary hammers to extra large pistons for hydraulic demolition hammers of 100 ton excavators. Produced sizes: diameter Φ50～Φ360mm × length: 500～5000mm.
What are the warranty conditions for your piston products?
The warranty period for piston products is method A or method B: A. From the date of receipt of the goods by the Buyer, for models ≥175 - within 6 months, for models<175 – within 12 months. During the warranty period, if the Supplier's products (pistons) have quality defects, such as destruction, head separation, swelling, the Supplier undertakes to make a free replacement; B. Or, when installing the piston, the Buyer provides original records of the installation of the piston, as well as a photo or video of the installation, indicating the corresponding stamped piston number, and on the day of installation sends them to the Supplier’s employee to confirm the commissioning record. From the date of confirmation of commissioning by both parties, during the warranty period, if the Supplier's products (pistons) have quality defects, such as destruction, head separation, swelling, the Supplier undertakes to make a free replacement.
What is the difference between your drill rod core and conventional drill rods?
Our Qianchui company has successfully developed a drill rod core using patented QC600 technology using military technology. The drill rod body is made of ultra-high-strength special steel QCD6, used in Long March rockets, and the tip core is made of independently developed heat-resistant alloy QC600, which successfully solved the technical problems that previously often arose with conventional large drill rods of hydraulic hammers: high strength - tendency to break, low strength - tendency to roll up the edge, high temperature - rapid softening, etc. QC600 high-temperature alloy core allows the drill rod to withstand operating temperature up to 600°C without softening, and the hardness reaches HRC60～65, high crushing efficiency, high productivity, high economic benefit. At the same time, the drill rod body made of ultra-high-strength QCD6 material has balanced strength and toughness, which fully meets the performance requirements of drill rods for ultra-large heavy hammers: high strength, high toughness, high temperature, high wear resistance.
What is the largest hydraulic hammer piston you produce?
On June 16, 2021, Qianchui Pistons, as requested by XCMG heavy hammer project, developed Φ360mm extra large piston for 5 ton heavy hammer, designed for 70～80 ton large excavators. In response to the technical difficulties associated with the high requirements of special steel and heat treatment at Φ360mm ultra-large diameter, Qianchui concentrated the efforts of technical engineers to carry out technical research and successfully solved the hardenability, structural transformation and mechanical properties of special material for 616S large pistons at Φ360mm diameter. After case hardening, the hardness of the extra-large heavy hammer piston was HRC59～61, the circumferential runout deformation was ≤0.10mm, and the material toughness was ≥128J, which successfully completed the development and delivery task.
