Models produced: from small impact pistons for rotary hammers to extra large pistons for 100 ton excavator hydraulic demolition hammers
Produced sizes: diameter Φ50～Φ360mm × length ≤5000mm
Technological process: EAF+CP+VD vacuum refining of 8～12-ton large ingots + forging of the billet on a 4500 ton press + forging of a circle on a 1,800 ton forging press + post-forging normalization + pre-heat treatment by tempering + standard case hardening + multiple low tempering + surface shot blasting + inspection and delivery to warehouse
The deformation ratio of the piston material is >8:1, the grain size is ≥8 points, and ultrasonic testing fully complies with the requirements.
Strength indicators: surface hardness HRC58～61, core hardness HRC36～42
Impact strength indicators: AKU ≥108 J, fully meet the requirements of the “hard outside, soft inside” characteristics for the hydraulic breaker hammer piston, which effectively relieves customers from hidden quality defects such as high fragility, tendency to head cracking and destruction of pistons made of high-carbon steels such as GCr15 or 9Cr2Mo, which have been quenched and holiday, and eliminates after-sales problems.
